Born in a Human city she grew up a normal life. Caring parents with a average income. Her father a smith, her mother always at home. She had lots of friends, although not all were as friendly as she used to be.
The games she played mostly involved combat. She didn't had many female friends. Her parents eventulally locked her up inside her room, and she could only get out for personal teaching. The main eason she got locked up was because she caused trouble with her friends. Combat games weren't fun anymore. She hamred others so badly, everytime one recovered she hits him/her nine broken ribs if she had to. She never was easy to hit, but she damaged others harder than funny.
Parents and the local rulers saw he as a real troubled child. Because of her father's good name they were capable in staying.
Age 16, she has lived over 2 years in prisonment when murders started to happen. No one knew who did it, no traces were found. Misshapen amulets were found with every murder happened. Rapidly all fingers pointed at her. How come? she never leaved home.
She got curious , escaping her room easily through some moved bricks. interested in the new murderer, she was sneaking from rooftop to rooftop into the guildhall for city guards. Hearing everything they said, she started to laugh. Running back to her place, she knew only one could've done that.
She told her parents that she wanted to go and look for the murderer. No reaction. her father got pissed and starting to scream at her with his fist swinging in the air. She dodged his blow, picked up his newly crafted sword and pierced his leg. She ran off...
After a months of searching and stealing the irony started to grow. The new murderer was an old friend. Never capable in growing with her skills, she was a natural talent in stealth and her sences had grown while imprisoned. Murders were taking high, leaving less trace, new amulets were found. This time not the same as those in the beginning. These were more expensive.
One night, two days before her 18th birthday, a letter was found near a new victim. It was her father. The letter talked about her being next. She never cared about who died, but furiosity was growing, led to training. She trained and slept in the forests. After a year and a half, she earned some Arsal gold as a headhuntress, directly spending it for clothing and weaponry, she had to protect herself.
Days passed away, training led to agility far beyond speed of city guards, reaction time increased. She was ready, toughened and still furious. her father shall be revenged.
it has been two years since her father died, new letters have been found. She was a target. Latest letter spoke of serious danger. "So you have been hiding for all these years. These people are no challenge anymore. I wanted to kill you earlier. you've been hiding well. you shall be dead within 10 hours after this man. Don't you worry, it shall be a swift death. The shadow Kev."
She was ready, immediatly searching for the place outside of town. While running over the rooftops a crossbow bolt passed by. immidiately stopping and turning she knew she would see him.
"I've practiced fo all these years killing these worthless meatbags just to be quicker than you was, Janna." he said fromout the shadows with a serious voice. "Now it's your turn to die."
"irony has never been your strongest point, kev, as was aiming.' she replied in a feared-filled voice. "I see you haven't lost your tongue, " spoke Kev with hunger for blood, her blood, "save your post-mortem jokes for the afterlife."
"Well, at least I have a life." she barked at Kev while unsheathing her sword and stepping forward ready for a charge.
"So you've come to battle. PREPARE TO DIE!" Kev screams, filled with rage and bloodlust.
they run towards each other, both found a nice flattened rooftop for their fight. He showed some of his skills with his yet unsheathed daggers. She dodged both of his daggers. moving towards him with great speed and reaction is swift. his greatsword ready to strike his charging foe. His sword lifted, ready to take her down to pieces. She made a jump towards the edge, falling down and grabbing the ledge swinging her body up and around the buildings corner and striking him in his back.
No harm seems to be inflicted when he turns around his sword swinging and gliding through the air. She ducks and directly striking himin his chest, piercing through his torso. "Yet you haven't grown in intelligence". she laughed pushing the body away and cleaning up her sword.
The body was thrown down from the rooftops, showing the real murderer.
"you just wouldn't believe it", she spoke in anger, "I demand an excuse."
She never gained it. Spat out by society she never listened to any warnings thrown at her.
2 years have past since this accident, no ruler never minded her as she walked by. Slowly forgotten she was turned again to a normal civillian, just by dissappearing for two years.
Yet she has returned to Arsal, unknown to any inhabitant. She found a second grave. Her mother, passed in grief and desire for death. Probably commited suicide. She is alone with no one to be trusted and nothing to care for, except her own....
