you know what's annoying. As a character you come up with all the tactical ideas and your friggin leader gets the credit. PEP I STILL HATE YOU FOR IT.

Well hi everyone, let me introduce myself once as well... I'm Roel (Helmes) and the people from the RU will probably know me (1st year chemistry). I'm from Veghel and I wonder HOW almost a complete DnD group from this region ends up on this forum... very funny.
If those people from region Uden/Veghel ever saw a blonde guy, doing a little strange/wearing a bassguitar/sitting in a bus reading Quest or other "lectuur" of not really a high level.... they might have seen me.
I practically have no experience roleplaying, because I only have played simcity and the sims and red alert on my computer (go on laugh at me). I am actually currently writing a fantasy epic story about a world, which maybe ever may be converted to DnD. this is my first experience with roleplaying and i like it, especially because I don't have to know a lot of rules.
Sorry if sometimes I'm a slow poster, but the thing is I don't have a lot of spare time, or at least i don't have a computer on my room in Groesbeek and I tend to plan my sparetime differently than RPing. Everyone have fun.
BTW: there are lots of other topics in OC chatter where you can talk nuts/foolish thing, keep this topic for introductions, that might be a good Idea. (what about it, benal?)
grtz

Well, that was the general idea and that they started their own topics for mindless ramble, yet the problem is, I'm so busy DMing I can't mod for usefullness in OC as well. I think... you'll see.

You are writing an fantasy epic story, Roel? Cool, I thought I was the only one here. But I think I won't be on this forum when it is finished becouse writing goes so... slowly...

Roel, if you need a test reader, I'm happy to volunteer.

It IS going slowly indeed. I've got 6 to 8 " strofes" right now, and I have to stick to a pattern and a rythm, in a way (poetry you know). Further, I have got about 4 or 3 pages of idea's. grtz

That's cool, a story in 'poetry'. Just like bards used to do. I'm planning to do something like that for my larp character, she's a bard after all.

yeah i wanna read it too. roleplaying isnt that hard you just think of a char and the rest will come automatic, at least in my "geval" how do u say that in english? but tarmeon, i think tarmin will never get his "barbarian-rights" but i would be cool that if some1 plays an barbarian( or an barbarian/sorcserer), he gets a bill afterwards for playing a barb ;D. btw tarmeon, are U righting a story, mwahahaha ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Martin, I never mailed Wizards, but I will do that very soon, if I feel like it. But still, I think I would get a mail back which would say that it would ruin the playfun for the other players or something like that.
And are you writing a story, why did you never tell us?

Ok i will reveal myself also. I`m Onno van Bilsen, almost 23, and studying to be a history teacher. I have been doing DND for about 7 or 8 years now (i still remember the time before 3.0 *shudder*) and larp for about 4 years now. Most people know me as the big guy or as Phalar, a necromaner at Shadow Rifts.

Becouse you never asked ;D
(Why do a lot of D&D/LRP charackters carry the name 'Henk' ?)

What a lame excuse Tarmeon, no-one on here ever asked that as well and still you said it.
And about Henk, it's just the simplicity in it. And a characters name says a lot about the character...

henk is a fine name: short, just like teun, rik, and any name longer then 4 "lettregrips" i have the neiging to name him her 'you'

That's right..... the word was in my head but did'n't come out when I read is; though I'm not sure the spelling's right.... nut let's keep this on topic, and the topic is introductions.

But everyone is already introduced! So this topic will die if we don't use it for useless babble.
